SeaWild works with the Government, local authorities and private investors to fund programs that restore the health of our seas. These programs are intended to replenish the biodiversity of the UK’s coastal waters and mitigate the damage caused by climate change.

SeaWild was formed to re-generate sea wildlife by growing seaweed. That regeneration will help to reduce the impact of carbon emissions, generate sustainable commodities and help to replenish fish stocks.
In the early part of the millennium Jason launched the UK’s first offshore technical support desk in Bengaluru India. For over 12 years, as CEO, his company reshaped inbound call handling, putting the customer and agent as the focus and priority of the business. As part of his entrepreneurial career in technology based services Jason mentored over 150 university students in startup ventures. He spent his early career in sales and marketing at British Telecom and IBM in international roles. Jason co-founded SeaWild as a form of direct action to help repair the environment.
Elizabeth has followed her passion for the environment and community throughout her career, working as a fundraising advisor and community enabler for local government and the environmental charities Groundwork South and Old Fort. Using her background in film and fine art she is also an experienced producer, organising large-scale events funded by the Arts Council and National Lottery.
Ole has over 25 years experience working in the film and media sector, specialising in sales and marketing and large brand account handling for the Panavision Group. He has strong links to the science community through his father,an oceanographer who inspired him to take action on climate change. Ole’s passion lies in developing sustainable eco-friendly sea-farming methods and products. Born in Germany, but having more than half his life lived in the United States, France and the U.K. he has an international outlook.
Ben Biles has worked for the past 25 years on prime time television documentaries for the BBC1,2,3,4 Channel 4 , ITV, Discovery Channel, Arte, NHK Japan among others. His work has taken him to many corners of the earth. He became first motivated to work in environmental sustainability after witnessing the rapid retreat of glaciers on human time scales in Alaska. Ben presents high level skills in electronics design, featured twice on Hackaday.com and lives in Japan, where seaweed is widely used.
Dr Hargreaves is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. He is the founder and Managing Director of Synfo which he set up in 2015 to offer support for smart energy systems development. He has over 30 years technical and multidisciplinary experience in engineering, climate change, sustainability and socio technical fields. Nigel provides consultancy on challenges at local, regional, national and international scales, offering a whole systems approach that can contribute to better leadership, business development and policy decision making.
